-Finished the three sections of bookwork (Ch 1-5, Ch 6-10, Ch 11-15)

All resources for this unit are posted on Google Classroom at the top of the  "Classwork" page, including:
-Digital workbook
-Audiobook
-Unit calendar
Students will be working on a research project about the YCJA. They will need technology all week to work on this.

They will be presenting a 1-minute speech at the end of this project.

All materials for this project are in students' Justice booklets, and also are posted on Google Classroom.
This week we will continue to work on finding the surface area of composite shape.

At this time we should have a good understanding of overlap and calculating the overlap.

This week we will solve problems related to real world scenarios and increased complexity for example: finding the surface area of a shape with a hole.

See D2L for daily assignments and notes.

In preparation for Remembrance Day next week, poppies are now for sale by donation in the office. Students are invited to bring in donations of any amount to "purchase" a poppy. If you would like to donate online instead, you can do so by going to www.poppyboxabnwt.com, or text POPPY4YYC. All online donations go to the same Calgary Branches Poppy Fund that the cash donations go to.
